Questions about our products

Can I see what I will get before I pay?

Yes. Every paid check has a sample report with fictitious data, marked SAMPLE on every page. Open it from the product card, the product's own page or the checkout step. Your report has the same layout with the real result.

Do I need a subscription for a once-off check?

No. Each check is a single card payment through Stripe. You need a free CheckID account with a verified email address, because that is where the PDF is sent.

What happens if a check finds nothing?

You are refunded in full automatically: if the name does not match the ID number, if the company is not on the register, or if the check cannot be completed. A refund can take a few business days to reach your bank.

Does CheckID keep the reports?

No. Each report is built in memory, emailed to you and not stored, so save the PDF. We keep an audit record of each order, as described in the privacy policy.

Which product should I use?

Use the free checker to see whether an ID number is well formed. Use the API to validate numbers from your own software or in bulk. Use a paid check when you need a result from an official register, such as Home Affairs or CIPC.

Can I pay by invoice or buy checks in bulk?

API plans are billed monthly by card. For invoicing, larger volumes or a custom plan, contact us and tell us what you need.
