Policy
Fair usage policy
Check ID SA ("CheckID") offers paid plans with high or unlimited validation allowances for legitimate business use. This policy explains how we keep the service fast and reliable for everyone. It is published by Check ID SA and may be updated from time to time.

What fair usage means
"Unlimited" or high-volume allowances are intended for normal production or operational use of our structural SA ID validation API and web tools. Usage must comply with our terms of service, respect POPIA, and must not degrade service for other customers.
Plan comparison

Acceptable use
- Validate SA ID numbers you are lawfully permitted to process for your stated purpose.
- Use the API and bulk tools at sustainable request rates (avoid abusive load tests or scrapers).
- Do not resell raw validation access without agreement with CheckID.
- Do not attempt to circumvent technical limits or probe the service for vulnerabilities.
If usage is unusually high
We may contact you by email, show an in-product notice, or in rare cases apply technical rate limits if usage appears automated, abusive, or harmful to platform stability. We will work with good-faith business customers to right-size usage or move you to the Business plan where appropriate.
No service-level agreement
Neither Professional nor Business includes a published uptime SLA or service credits. We operate the service on a commercially reasonable basis and communicate incidents via our normal support channels.
